RAG Deserves an Index

Our new paper, RAG Deserves an Index: Why Ingest-Time Compilation Beats Query-Time Interpretation, is now on arXiv.

It makes the case for compiling a corpus into provenance-validated claims at ingest time, rather than repeatedly asking a model to interpret raw text at query time. The code and experiments are in ISC-RAG.
